Kia aap ne kabhi socha hai ke maut ke baad zinda hona kaisa hoga? Surah Baqarah ki Ayat 256 se 258 mein imaan aur hidayat ki haqeeqat samajhne ke baad, ab hum aik aise safar par hain jahan Allah Ta'ala apni qudrat ke khulay moajizat (miracles) dikhata hai. Surah Baqarah ki Ayat 259 aur 260 darasal insani zehen mein uthne wale un sawalon ka jawab hain jo "Life after Death" yaani maut ke baad ki zindagi ke baare mein hain.
Is blog post mein hum do aise iman-afroz waqiyat ka zikr karenge jo aap ki rooh ko taro-taza kar denge. Ek taraf Hazrat Uzair (A.S) ka qissa hai jo 100 saal ki neend ke baad dobara zinda kiye gaye, aur dusri taraf Hazrat Ibrahim (A.S) ka woh mashhoor moajiza jahan parinday Allah ke hukm se dobara ji uthe. Agar aap apni aankhon se imaan ki taqat aur Allah ki be-misal qudrat ko samajhna chahte hain, toh ye "Divine Journey" ka agla hissa sirf aap ke liye hai. EnglishHave you ever wondered what resurrection truly feels like? After exploring the essence of faith in Ayats 256-258, we now move toward a section of Surah Baqarah (Ayat 259-260) where Allah Almighty manifests His absolute power through open miracles. These verses address the deep curiosity surrounding life after death. In this post, we delve into two faith-inspiring stories: the 100-year sleep and revival of Prophet Uzair (A.S), and the miraculous event where birds returned to life at the call of Prophet Ibrahim (A.S). If you seek to witness the undeniable strength of faith and the majesty of Divine power, this next chapter of our "Divine Journey" is crafted specifically for you.
Ya us ki tarah jo guzra ek basti par aur woh dhayi padi thi apni chhaton par, bola isay kyunkar jilaye ga Allah is ki maut ke baad toh Allah ne usay murda rakkha sau baras phir zinda kar diya, farmaya tu yahan kitna thehra arz ki din bhar thehra hoon ga ya kuch kam, farmaya nahi balkay tujhe sau baras guzar gaye aur apne khane aur pani ko dekh ke ab tak bu na laya aur apne gadhe ko dekh (ke jis ki haddiyan tak salamat na rahin) aur ye is liye ke tujhe hum logon ke wastey nishani karein aur in haddiyon ko dekh kyunkar hum unhein uthan dete phir unhein gosht pehnate hain jab ye mamla us par zahir ho gaya bola main khoob jaanta hoon ke Allah sab kuch kar sakta hai.
Or [consider] the one who passed by a city which had fallen into utter ruin. He exclaimed, "How will Allah bring this back to life after its death?" So Allah caused him to die for a hundred years; then He restored him to life. He asked, "How long have you remained?" He replied, "I have remained a day or part of a day." Allah said, "No, you have remained a hundred years. Look at your food and your drink; they have not spoiled. And look at your donkey. We will make you a sign for the people. And look at the bones—how We raise them and then clothe them with flesh." And when it became clear to him, he said, "I know that Allah is powerful over all things."Ayat
Aur jab arz ki Ibrahim ne ae Rab mere mujhe dikha de tu kyunkar murde jilaye ga, farmaya kya tujhe yaqeen nahi, arz ki yaqeen kyun nahi magar ye chahta hoon ke mere dil ko qarar aa jaye farmaya toh achha char parinde le kar apne saath hila le phir un ka ek ek tukda har pahad par rakh de phir unhein bula woh tere paas chale ayenge paon se daudte aur jaan rakh ke Allah ghalib hikmat wala hai.
And when Ibrahim said, "My Lord, show me how You give life to the dead," Allah said, "Do you not believe?" He replied, "Yes, I do believe, but just to reassure my heart." Allah said, "Then take four birds and train them to follow you, then place a part of them on each mountain and call them; they will come to you in haste. And know that Allah is Exalted in Might and Wise."
Surah Baqarah Ayat 259-260 ki Tafseer
"Ya us ki tarah jis ka guzar ek basti par hua." Aksar mufassireen ke baqol is ayat mein bayan kiya gaya waqia Hazrat-e-Uzair Alaihis Salam ka hai aur basti se Bait-ul-Muqaddas murad hai.
Hazrat-e-Uzair Alaihis Salam ka waqia:
Jab Bukht Nasar badshah ne Bait-ul-Muqaddas ko weran kiya aur Bani Israel ko qatal-o-gharatgari karke tabah-o-barbad kar dala toh ek martaba Hazrat-e-Uzair Alaihis Salam ka wahan se guzar hua, aap ke saath ek bartan khajoor aur ek pyala angoor ka ras tha aur aap ek gadhe par sawaar thay, tamam basti mein phiray lekin kisi shakhs ko wahan na paya, basti ki imaratein giri hui thin, aap ne tajub se kaha "Anna Yuhyi Hazihillahu Ba'da Mawtiha" Allah Ta'ala inhein in ki maut ke baad kaise zinda karega. Is ke baad aap Alaihis Salam ne apni sawari ke janwar ko wahan baandh diya aur khud aaram farmane lage, isi halat mein aap ki rooh qabz kar li gayi aur gadha bhi mar gaya. Ye subah ke waqt ka waqia hai.Is se sattar (70) baras baad Allah Ta'ala ne Iran ke badshahon mein se ek badshah ko ghalba diya aur wo apni faujein le kar Bait-ul-Muqaddas pohancha, is ko pehle se bhi behtar tareeqe par aabad kiya aur Bani Israel mein se jo log baqi reh gaye thay wo dobara yahan aakar Bait-ul-Muqaddas aur is ke gird-o-nawah mein aabad ho gaye aur in ki tadad barhti rahi. Is poore arse mein Allah Ta'ala ne Hazrat-e-Uzair Alaihis Salam ko dunya ki aankhon se poshida rakha aur koi aap ko na dekh saka, jab aap ki wafat ko soo (100) saal guzar gaye toh Allah Ta'ala ne aap ko zinda kiya, pehle aankhon mein jaan aayi, abhi tak tamam jism mein jaan na aayi thi. Baqi jism aap ke dekhte dekhte zinda kiya gaya. Ye waqia shaam ke waqt ghuroob-e-aftab ke qareeb hua.
Allah Ta'ala ne Hazrat-e-Uzair Alaihis Salam se farmaya: Tum yahan kitne din thehre? Aap ne andaze se arz kiya ke ek din ya is se kuch kam waqt. Allah Ta'ala ne farmaya: Tum yahan ek soo (100) saal thehre ho. Apne khane aur pani yani khajoor aur angoor ke ras ko dekho ke waisa hi sahi salamat baqi hai, is mein boo tak paida nahi hui aur apne gadhe ko dekho ke is ka kya haal hai, chunancha aap ne dekha ke wo mar chuka hai, is ka badan gal gaya aur aaza bikhar gaye hain, sirf safaid haddiyan chamak rahi thin. Aap ki aankhon ke samne us ke aaza jama huye, aaza apni apni jagah par aaye, haddiyon par gosht charha, gosht par khaal aayi, baal nikle phir us mein rooh phoonki gayi aur wo uth khara hua aur awaaz nikalne laga.
Aap ne Allah Ta'ala ki qudrat ka mushahida kiya aur farmaya main khoob jaanta hoon ke Allah Ta'ala har shaye par qadir hai yani yaqeen toh pehle hi tha, ab Ain-ul-Yaqeen hasil ho gaya. Phir aap apni is sawari par sawaar ho kar apne mahalla mein tashreef laye sar-e-aqdas aur darhi mubarak ke baal safaid thay, umar wahi chalis (40) saal ki thi, koi aap ko na pehchanta tha. Andaze se apne makan par pohanche, ek zaeef burhiya mili jis ke paaon reh gaye thay, wo nabeena ho gayi thi, wo aap ke ghar ki baandi thi aur us ne aap ko dekha hua tha, aap ne us se daryaft farmaya ke ye Uzair ka makan hai us ne kaha haan, lekin Uzair kahan, unhein toh ghayab huye soo saal guzar gaye. Ye keh kar wo khoob royi. Aap Alaihis Salam ne farmaya: Main Uzair hoon, us ne kaha, SubhanAllah! Ye kaise ho sakta hai? Ye farmate hi us ke mazoor paaon durust ho gaye. Us ne aap ko dekh kar pehchana aur kaha main gawahi deti hoon ke aap beshak Hazrat-e-Uzair Alaihis Salam hain.
Wo aap ko Bani Israel ke mahalle mein le gayi, wahan ek majlis mein aap ke farzand thay jin ki umar ek soo athara (118) saal ki ho chuki thi aur aap ke pote bhi thay jo boorhe ho chuke thay. Burhiya ne majlis mein pukara ke ye Hazrat Uzair Alaihis Salam tashreef laye hain. Ahl-e-majlis ne us aurat ko jhutlaya.
Is ayat mein Allah Ta'ala ki azeem qudrat par dalalat karne wala ek aur waqia bayan kiya ja raha hai, is ka khulasa darj zail hai.
Hazrat-e-Ibrahim Alaihis Salam aur chaar parinday:
Mufassireen ne likha hai ke samundar ke kinare ek aadmi mara hua para tha, samundar ka pani chunkay charhta utarta rehta hai. Chunancha jab pani charha toh machliyon ne is lash ko khaya aur jab pani utra toh jangal ke darindon ne khaya aur jab darinde chale gaye toh parindon ne khaya. Hazrat-e-Ibrahim Alaihis Salam ne ye mulahiza farmaya toh aap ko shauq hua ke aap mulahiza farmein ke murday kis tarah zinda kiye jayenge. Azawajal, mujhe dikha ke Tu murdon ko kis tarah zinda karta hai? Allah Ta'ala ne farmaya: Kya tumhe is par yaqeen nahi? Allah Ta'ala Aalim-ul-Ghayb wash-Shahadah hai, use Hazrat-e-Ibrahim Alaihis Salam ke kamal-e-iman-o-yaqeen ka ilm hai. Is ke bawajood ye sawal farmana ke "Kya tujhe yaqeen nahi" is liye hai ke samieen ko sawal ka maqsad maloom ho jaye aur wo jaan lein ke ye sawal kisi shak-o-shubha ki bina par na tha.
Hazrat-e-Ibrahim Alaihis Salam ki farmaish par hukm-e-khudawandi hua ke tum chaar parinday le lo aur unhein apne saath khoob manoos kar lo phir unhein zibah karke un ka qeema aapas mein mila kar mukhtalif paharon par rakh do aur phir unhein awaaz do. Un mein har ek apni pehli wali shakal-o-surat mein ban kar tumhare paas aa jayega. Chunancha Hazrat-e-Ibrahim Alaihis Salam ne chaar parinday liye. Ek qaul ke mutabiq wo more, murgh, kabootar aur kawwa thay. Aap Alaihis Salam ne unhein bu-hukm-e-Ilahi zibah kiya, un ke par ukhare aur qeema karke un ke aaza baaham mila diye aur is majmua ke kai hisse kar ke ek ek hissa ek ek pahar par rakh diya aur sab ke sar apne paas mehfooz rakhe.
Allah Ta'ala Ambiya-e-Kiram Alaihimus Salatu was Salam ki duaein qabool farmata hai.
Ambiya-e-Kiram Alaihimus Salatu was Salam ki duaon se murday bhi zinda hote hain.
Allah Ta'ala Ambiya-e-Kiram Alaihimus Salatu was Salam ki khwahishat ko poora farmata hai.
Jitna yaqeen kamil hota hai utna hi iman barh jata hai.
Mushahide se marifat mein izafa hota hai.
Ye waqiyat Allah Ta'ala ki azeem qudrat ki azeem daleelein hain.
Ye waqiyat marne ke baad zinda kiye jaane ki boht bari daleel hain.
Surah baqarah Ayat 259 260 Tafseer
The Story of Hazrat Uzair (Alaihis Salam)
"Or like the one who passed by a township..." According to most commentators (mufassireen), the incident mentioned in this verse refers to Hazrat Uzair (AS), and the "township" refers to Jerusalem (Bait-ul-Muqaddas).
When King Nebuchadnezzar (Bukht Nasar) devastated Jerusalem and destroyed the Bani Israel through slaughter and looting, Hazrat Uzair (AS) once passed by that place. He had a container of dates and a bowl of grape juice with him and was riding a donkey. He wandered through the entire town but found no one there. The buildings of the town had collapsed. Out of wonder, he said: "How will Allah give life to this after its death?" After this, Hazrat Uzair (AS) tied his animal there and lay down to rest. In that state, his soul was taken (he passed away), and his donkey also died. This incident occurred in the morning.
Seventy years later, Allah gave dominance to one of the kings of Iran, who reached Jerusalem with his armies. He inhabited it in a better way than before, and those who remained from the Bani Israel returned and settled in and around Jerusalem, and their numbers continued to increase. During this entire period, Allah kept Hazrat Uzair (AS) hidden from the eyes of the world, and no one could see him.
When one hundred years had passed since his death, Allah brought him back to life. First, life entered his eyes while the rest of his body was not yet alive. The rest of his body was brought to life before his very eyes. This event happened in the evening, near sunset.
Allah asked Hazrat Uzair (AS): "How long have you stayed here?" He estimated and replied: "A day or part of a day." He thought it was the evening of the same day he had fallen asleep in the morning. Allah said: "Nay, you have stayed here for a hundred years. Look at your food and drink (the dates and grape juice); they are perfectly preserved, and not even a smell has developed in them. And look at your donkey (to see its condition)."
He saw that the donkey had died, its body had decomposed, and its limbs were scattered; only the white bones were shining. Before his eyes, the limbs gathered, the parts returned to their places, flesh grew over the bones, skin covered the flesh, hair grew, and then the soul was breathed into it. The donkey stood up and began to bray.
He witnessed the power of Allah and said: "I know well that Allah has power over everything." This means that while he already had faith, he now attained "Ain-ul-Yaqeen" (certainty by sight). Then, riding his animal, he arrived at his neighborhood. The hair on his head and beard was white, but his age was still forty years; no one recognized him. He reached his house by estimation and found an old woman who was paralyzed and blind. She was a maid of his house and had seen him before. He asked her, "Is this Uzair's house?" She said, "Yes, but where is Uzair? A hundred years have passed since he disappeared." Saying this, she wept bitterly.
He said: "I am Uzair." She replied: "SubhanAllah! How can this be?" He said: "Allah kept me in a state of death for a hundred years and then brought me back to life." She said: "Hazrat Uzair (AS) was 'Mustajab-ud-Da’waat' (one whose prayers are always accepted). Pray that my eyes see again so I can look at you." He prayed, and the woman regained her sight. He held her hand and said, "Rise by the command of Allah," and her paralyzed feet became healthy. She recognized him and testified: "I bear witness that you are indeed Hazrat Uzair (AS)."
She took him to the neighborhood of the Bani Israel. In a gathering there was his son, who was now 118 years old, and his grandsons, who had also become old. The old woman announced: "Hazrat Uzair (AS) has arrived." The people in the gathering doubted her. She said, "Look at me; my condition has been cured through his prayer." People approached him. His son said: "My father had a crescent-shaped mark of black hair between his shoulders." When his body was shown, the mark was present. Furthermore, in that era, no copy of the Torah (Taurait) remained, and no one knew it by heart. Hazrat Uzair (AS) recited the entire Torah from memory. One person said: "I learned from my father that during the time of Nebuchadnezzar's tyranny, my grandfather buried a copy of the Torah in a certain place." They searched and found the buried copy. When it was compared with the Torah written by Hazrat Uzair (AS) from memory, there was not a difference of a single letter.
Hazrat Ibrahim (Alaihis Salam) and the Four Birds
"And when Ibrahim said..." In this verse, another incident indicating the great power of Allah is mentioned. The summary is as follows:
Commentators have written that a dead man was lying on the seashore. Since the seawater rises and recedes, when the tide came in, the fish ate the corpse; when it receded, the forest beasts ate it; and after the beasts left, the birds ate it. Hazrat Ibrahim (AS) observed this and felt a desire to witness how the dead are brought back to life. He prayed in the court of Allah: "O Allah! I believe that You will bring the dead back to life and gather their parts from the bellies of sea animals, beasts, and birds, but I wish to see this wondrous sight."
Another saying of the commentators is that when Allah made Hazrat Ibrahim (AS) His Khaleel (Intimate Friend), Hazrat Malak-ul-Maut (the Angel of Death) came to give him this glad tiding by Allah's permission. Upon hearing this, he praised Allah and asked Malak-ul-Maut: "What is the sign of being made a Khaleel?" He replied: "The proof is that Allah will accept your prayers and bring the dead back to life at your request." Then he prayed: "O Allah! Show me how You give life to the dead." Allah asked: "Do you not believe?" Allah is the Knower of the Unseen and the Seen; He knew the perfection of Hazrat Ibrahim’s faith. Despite this, asking "Do you not believe?" was so that the listeners would understand the purpose of the question and know it was not based on any doubt. Hazrat Ibrahim (AS) replied: "Why not (I believe)? But I wish to see it with my eyes so that my heart may find peace." (In the context of being a Khaleel, it meant that his heart would be satisfied by the sign that Allah had indeed chosen him as a Friend).
Upon his request, the divine command came: "Take four birds and make them tame and attached to you. Then slaughter them, mix their meat together, and place portions of them on different mountains. Then call them. Each one will return to you in its original form."
Hazrat Ibrahim (AS) took four birds. According to one saying, they were a peacock, a rooster, a pigeon, and a crow. By Allah’s command, he slaughtered them, removed their feathers, minced their meat, and mixed the parts together. He divided the mixture into several parts and placed one part on each mountain, keeping the heads with him. Then he called the birds.
As soon as he called, by Allah’s command, those parts flew, the parts of each animal separated and gathered in their proper order. They formed the shapes of birds and came running to him. They joined with their respective heads and became exactly as they were before. SubhanAllah!
Information Derived from the Incidents of Hazrat Uzair and Hazrat Ibrahim (AS):
Several things are learned from these events:
Allah accepts the prayers of the Prophets (Ambiya-e-Kiram).
The dead are brought back to life through the prayers of the Prophets.
Allah fulfills the desires of the Prophets.
The more perfect the certainty, the more faith increases.
Observation (Mushahida) increases spiritual recognition (Marifat).
These events are great proofs of Allah's magnificent power.
These events are a very big proof of being brought back to life after death.
Key Points
1. Allah ki Qudrat :
Ye dono waqiyat sabit karte hain ke Allah Ta'ala har cheez par qadir hai, khwah wo murdon ko zinda karna ho ya sadiyon tak khane peene ko kharab hone se bachana.
2. Maut ke Baad Zindagi :
In waqiyat se ye yaqeen milta hai ke marne ke baad dobara uthaya jana ek haqeeqat hai, aur Allah ke liye ye bilkul asan hai. In Ayat ki tafseer parhna ka bad humara yakeen Allah pa or bhi Bhar jata ha or Ais baat pa bhi ka hum na Marna ka bad Dobara Zinda hona or Allah ka aga khara hona or ya kaam Allah kara ga mout ka bad Dobara Zinda zaroor kara ga or ais baat pa yakeen rakhna humara Iman ka bht eham hissa ha. Akhirat ka din pa agar humara Iman nh ho ga to humara Iman Mukamal nh ho sakta ha hum musalman nh ho sakta ha kue ka jab tak Hum Allah ko us ki tamam shano or Shefat ka sath nh mana ga hum musalman nh ho sakta ha ya baat hamesha yaad rakha bz log Akhirat ka din pa yakeen nh rakht ha to wo ya Jan la ka muslaman nh ha kue ka akhirat ka din pa yakeen na rakhna Allah ki Qudrat pa sawal uthna ka barabar ha to Ais Liya Akhirat ka din pa Pura yakeen or ais baat pa bhi ka hum na Marna ka bad Dobara Zinda hona or Allah ko hisab dena to ais Liya Kisi ka sath Galat karta huwa yaad rakha ka Allah Ek din ais ka hisab ka zaroor la ga.
3. Ain-ul-Yaqeen :
Hazrat Ibrahim (AS) aur Hazrat Uzair (AS) dono ka iman kamil tha, lekin unhone apni aankhon se mushahida is liye kiya taake dil ko mazeed sukoon aur "Ain-ul-Yaqeen" hasil ho jaye.
4. Waqt par Ikhtiyar:
Allah Ta'ala waqt ko rokne ya palatne par qadir hai. Hazrat Uzair (AS) ke liye 100 saal guzre par unka khana fresh raha, jabke gadha haddiyan ban gaya—ye dikhata hai ke Allah har cheez par alag qanoon chala sakta hai.
5. Ambiya ki Dua ki Maqbooliyat:
Allah Ta'ala apne Ambiya ki khwahishat aur sawal ko radd nahi karta, balkay unhein apni qudrat ka nazara dikha kar unke darajaat buland karta hai.
6. Ilm ki Hifazat:
Hazrat Uzair (AS) ka Taurait ko zabani sunana ye sabit karta hai ke Allah apne nek bandon ke zariye apne deen aur kitabon ki hifazat farmata hai.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
Q1: Ayat 259 mein us shakhs (Hazrat Uzair A.S) ka kya waqia bayan hua hai?
Ans: Unka guzar ek ujjri hui basti se hua toh unhone socha ke Allah ise dobara kaise zinda karega. Allah ne un par 100 saal tak maut tari kardi aur phir unke gadhe (donkey) ko unki ankhon ke samne dobara zinda karke dikhaya.
Q2: Hazrat Ibrahim (A.S) ne parindon wala sawal kyun kiya tha?
Ans: Hazrat Ibrahim (A.S) ka sawal shak ki wajah se nahi tha, balkay wo apne dil ke itminaan (peace of heart) ke liye Allah ki qudrat ka mushahida apni ankhon se karna chahte thay.
Q3: What happened to the food and drink of the man who slept for 100 years?
Ans: By the miracle of Allah, his food and drink remained fresh and did not rot even after 100 years, while his donkey had turned into bones.
Q4: What was the specific command given to Prophet Ibrahim (A.S) regarding the birds?
Ans: Allah commanded him to take four birds, tame them, then place parts of them on different mountains. When he called them, they came flying back to him joined and alive by Allah's power.
Q5: What is the central theme of these two verses?
Ans: The central theme is Allah's absolute power over life and death. It serves as a visual proof of Resurrection (the Day of Judgement) for those who seek certainty in faith.
