Surah Al-Baqarah verses 267 to 269 in Arabic text about spending good things in the way of Allah.

Ayat 267

"Ae Iman walon! Apni pakiza kamai mein se kharch karo aur us mein se jo Hum ne tumhare liye zameen se nikala hai. Aur kharch karne ke liye buri cheez ka irada na karo, ke agar wahi cheez tumhe di jaye toh tum kabhi na lo jab tak ke aankhein na band kar lo. Aur jaan rakho ke Allah Be-parwah (Ghani) aur Qabil-e-Tareef hai."

"O you who have believed, spend from the good things which you have earned and from that which We have produced for you from the earth. And do not aim toward the defective (bad quality) therefrom, spending [from that] while you would not take it [yourselves] except with closed eyes. And know that Allah is Free of need and Praiseworthy."

Ayat 268

"Shaitan tumhein tangdasti (muhtaji) se darata hai aur behayayi ka hukum deta hai, jabke Allah tum se apni bakhshish aur fazl ka wada farmata hai. Aur Allah bari wus'at wala aur sab kuch janne wala hai."

"Satan threatens you with poverty and orders you to immorality, while Allah promises you forgiveness from Him and abundance. And Allah is all-Encompassing and Knowing."

Ayat 269

"Allah hikmat deta hai jisay chahe, aur jisay hikmat mili usay boht bari bhalaayi (khair-e-kaseer) mil gayi. Aur naseehat nahi maante magar wahi jo aqal wale hain."

"He grants wisdom to whom He pleases; and whoever is granted wisdom has certainly received a great good. And none will grasp this message except those of understanding."

Arabic Quranic verses from Surah Al-Baqarah 270 to 274 explaining the rewards of secret and open charity.

Ayat 270

"Aur tum jo kuch bhi kharch karo ya jo koi bhi mannat (vow) maano, beshak Allah ko uski poori khabar hai. Aur zalimon ka koi madadgaar nahi hoga."

"And whatever you spend in charity or whatever vow you make—indeed, Allah knows it. And for the wrongdoers, there are no helpers."

Ayat 271

"Agar tum khairat (sadqa) elaniya (zahir karke) do toh wo bhi achi baat hai, lekin agar tum isay chupa kar faqiron ko do toh ye tumhare liye sab se behtar hai. Aur ye tumhare gunahon ko mita dega (kaffara ban jayega). Aur Allah tumhare tamam kaamon se poori tarah khabardaar hai."

"If you disclose your charitable expenditures, they are good; but if you conceal them and give them to the poor, it is better for you, and He will remove from you some of your misdeeds [thereby]. And Allah, with what you do, is fully Acquainted."

Ayat 272

"Inhein raah par lana (hidayat dena) tumhare zimma nahi, balkay Allah jise chahta hai raah dikhata hai. Aur tum jo bhi maal (behtar cheez) kharch karo toh wo tumhare apne bhale ke liye hai. Aur tum kharch nahi karte magar sirf Allah ki raza chahne ke liye. Aur jo kuch bhi tum maal kharch karoge, uska poora badla tumhe diya jayega aur tumhara haq nahi mara jayega."

"Not upon you [O Muhammad] is their guidance, but Allah guides whom He wills. And whatever good you spend is for yourselves, and you do not spend except seeking the countenance of Allah. And whatever you spend of good—it will be fully repaid to you, and you will not be wronged."

Ayat 273

"(Sadqa) un fuqara ke liye hai jo Allah ki raah mein ghir gaye hain (ruke hue hain) aur zameen mein (rizq ke liye) dour dhoop nahi kar sakte. Na-waqif shakhs unki haya aur khamoshi ki wajah se unhein ameer (tawangar) samajhta hai. Tum unhein unke chehron se pehchan sakte ho; wo logon se gid-gidakar sawal nahi karte. Aur tum jo kuch bhi khair-o-bhalayi kharch karoge, beshak Allah usay khoob janne wala hai."

"[Charity is] for the poor who have been restricted for the cause of Allah, unable to move about in the land. An ignorant [person] would think them self-sufficient because of their restraint, but you may know them by their mark. They do not beg from people at all. And whatever you spend of good - indeed, Allah is Knowing of it."

Ayat 274

"Those who spend their wealth [in Allah's way] by night and by day, secretly and publicly—they will have their reward with their Lord. And no fear will there be concerning them, nor will they grieve."

Surah Al-Baqarah (Ayat 267-274) ki Tafseer

Ayat 267: Pak Kamai Aur Aala Darjay Ka Maal

Apni pak kamaiyon mein se kuch kharch karo. Baaz log sadqa mein kharab maal diya karte thay unke baare mein ye ayat nazil hui aur farmaya gaya ke Allah Ta’ala ki raah mein apna kamaya hua pakiza aur saaf suthra maal diya karo neez zameen ki paidawar se bhi raah-e-khuda mein kharch kiya karo aur Allah Ta’ala ki raah mein naqis, ghatiya aur raddi maal na diya karo, jab tum Allah Ta’ala se acchi jaza chahte ho to us ki raah mein maal bhi aala darjay ka diya karo. Ghaur karo ke jis tarah ka ghatiya maal tum raah-e-khuda mein dete ho agar wahi maal tumhe diya jaye to kya tum qabool karoge! Pehle to qabool hi na karoge aur agar qabool kar bhi lo to kabhi khush-dili se na loge balkay dil mein bura manate hue loge to jab apne liye accha lene ka sochte ho to raah-e-khuda mein kharch kiye jaane wale ke baare mein bhi accha hi socho. Bohat se log khud to accha istemal karte hain lekin jab raah-e-khuda mein dena hota hai to na-qabil-e-istemal aur ghatiya qism ka dete hain. Un k liye is ayat mein ibrat hai. Agar koi cheez fi nafsihi to acchi hai lekin aadmi ko khud pasand nahi to us ke dene mein koi haraj nahi albatta haraj wahan hai jahan cheez acchi na hone ki wajah se napasand ho.

Ayat 267 Se Maloom Hone Wale Deeni Masail

Is ayat se kai masail maloom hue:

(1) Kamai Ki Ijazat:

Is se kamane ki ijazat sabit hoti hai.

(2) Sadqat Ki Qismein:

Ayat mein nafli aur farz sadqat dono dakhil ho sakte hain.

(3) Behtar Khairat:

Apni kamai se khairat karna behtar hai kyunke farmaya apni kamaiyon se.

(4) Maal-e-Halal:

Maal-e-halal se khairat kiya jaye.

(5) Aitidal:

Sara maal khairat na kare balkay kuch apne kharch ke liye bhi rakhe jaisa ke "MIMMA" "mein se" ke lafz se maloom hota hai.

(6) Zameen Ki Paidawar:

Zameen ki paidawar se bhi raah-e-khuda mein diya jaye khwah wo ghallay hon ya phal neez paidawar kam ho ya zyada bahar-soorat diya jaye.

Ayat 268: Shaitan Ki Chaal Aur Allah Ka Waada

Shaitan tumhe muhtaj ho jaane ka andesha dilata hai. Baghair kisi dunyawi mufad ke raza-e-Ilahi ke liye kharch karne ke fazail ke bayan ke baad is raah mein pesh aane wale sab se bade waswasay ka bayan kiya ja raha hai ke shaitan tarah tarah se waswasay dilata hai ke agar tum kharch karoge, sadqa doge to khud faqir-o-nadar ho jaoge lehaza kharch na karo. Ye shaitan ki bohat badi chaal hai ke Allah Ta’ala ki raah mein kharch karte waqt is tarah ke andishe dilata hai halankay jin logon ke dilon mein ye waswasa dala ja raha hota hai wahi log shadi biyah mein jaiz-o-najaiz rasoomat par aur aam zindagi mein be-dareeg kharch kar rahe hote hain, chunancha irshad farmaya ke shaitan to tumhe bukhl-o-kanjoosi ki taraf bulata hai lekin Allah Ta’ala tum se waada farmata hai ke agar tum us ki raah mein kharch karoge to wo tumhe apne fazl aur maghfirat se nawazega aur ye bhi yaad rakho ke wo pak Parwardigar AZZAWAJAL badi wusat wala hai, wo sadqa se tumhare maal ko ghatne na dega balkay is mein aur barqat paida kar dega.

Ayat 269: Hikmat-e-Ilahi Ki Fazeelat

Allah jise chahta hai hikmat deta hai. Hikmat se Quran, Hadith aur Fiqh ka ilm, taqwa aur naboowat murad ho sakte hain. Kyunke Quran-o-Hadith sarapa hikmat hain aur Fiqh isi sarchashma-e-hikmat-o-hidayat se faiz-yafta ilm hai aur taqwa hikmat ka taqaza hai jabke naboowat sarasar hikmat hai albatta ye baat qatai hai ke hamare Nabi Kareem ﷺ ke baad ab kisi ko naboowat nahi milegi.

Ayat 270: Kharch Aur Nazar (Vow) Ka Anjam

Aur tum jo kharch karo. Yahan ayat mein waada aur waeed dono bayan kiye gaye hain kyunke farmaya gaya ke tum jo kharch karo khwah naiki mein, khwah badi mein yunhi tum jo nazar mano, acche kaam ki ya gunah ke kaam ki, in tamam cheezon ko Allah Ta’ala jaanta hai, to acche amal, kharch aur nazar par sawab dega jabke gunah ke amal, kharch aur nazar par saza dega.

Nazar Ki Tareef Aur Us Ke Ahkam

Yaad rahe ke urf mein hadiya aur pesh-kash ko nazar kehte hain jaise kisi bade ko koi cheez pesh karein to kehte hain ke janab ye aap ki nazar ki. Nazar ki do qismein hain:

(1) Nazar-e-Sharai:

Shara mein nazar ibadat aur qurbat-e-maqsuda hai isi liye agar kisi ne gunah karne ki nazar maani to wo sahi nahi hui. Nazar khas Allah Ta’ala ke liye hoti hai aur ye jaiz hai ke Allah Ta’ala ke liye nazar kare aur kisi wali ke aastana ke fuqara ko nazar ke sarf karne ki jagah muqarrar kare maslan kisi ne ye kaha Ya Rabb! AZZAWAJAL, maine nazar maani ke agar tu mera falan maqsad pura kar de ke falan bimar ko tandurust kar de to mein falan wali ke aastana ke fuqara ko khana khilaun ya wahan ke khuddam ko rupiya paisa dun ya un ki masjid ke liye falan saman muhayya karunga to ye nazar jaiz hai.

(2) Lughwi/Urfi Nazar:

Jo nazrana ke maani mein hai wo makhlooq ke liye bhi ho sakti hai, jaise buzrugan-e-deen ke liye nazar-o-niyaz ki jati hai, mazarat par chadar chadane ki nazar maani jati hai.

Ayat 271: Khufiya Aur Aylaniya Sadqat Ka Hukum

Agar tum aylaniya khairat do. Sadqa khwah farz ho ya nafl jab ikhlas ke saath Allah Ta’ala ke liye diya jaye aur riya se paak ho to khwah zahir karke dein ya chupa kar dono behtar hain. Lekin sadqa-e-farz ko zahir karke dena afzal hai aur nafl ko chupa kar aur agar nafl sadqa dene wala dusron ko khairat ki targheeb dene ke liye zahir karke de to ye izhaar bhi afzal hai jaise Nabi Kareem ﷺ majma-e-aam mein sadqa ki targheeb dete aur sahabah-e-kiram (رضی اللہ عنہم) sab ke samne sadqat pesh karte. Sayyiduna Siddiq-e-Akbar, Sayyiduna Umar Farooq aur Sayyiduna Usman-e-Ghani (رضی اللہ عنہم) ke aylaniya sadqat mein yehi hikmat thi. Sadqat ki mazeed fazeelat ye bayan farmai ke is se gunah-e-saghira muaf ho jaate hain.

Ayat 272: Hidayat Allah Ke Akhtiyar Mein Hai

Ye mazmun Quran-e-Paak mein bakasrat bayan kiya gaya hai.

Kharch Ka Faida Aur Ikhlas Ki Ahmiyat

{WA MA TUNFIQU MIN KHAYRIN: Aur tum jo acchi cheez kharch karo.} Irshad farmaya gaya ke tum jo kharch karte ho us ka faida tumhe hi hoga ke duniya mein maal mein barqat aur aakhirat mein sawab ka zakheera hoga. Lehaza jab is mein tumhara hi faida hai to jis par kharch karte ho us par ehsan na jatao balkay sirf Allah Ta’ala ki raza-o-khushnoodi ke liye kharch karo aur ek zarra barabar dunyawi nafa hasil karne ki tamanna na karo.

Ayat 273: Sadqat Ke Behtareen Mustahiq (Ahle-Suffah)

In faqiron ke liye jo Allah ke raaste mein rok diye gaye. Guzashta ayayat mein sadqa dene ki targheeb di gayi yahan bataya gaya ke un ka behtareen masraf wo fuqara hain jinhone apni jaanon ko jihad aur ta'at-e-Ilahi ke liye rok rakha hai. Ye ayat Ahle-Suffah ke haq mein nazil hui. In hazrat ki tadad char sau ke qareeb thi, ye hijrat karke Madinah Tayyibah hazir hue thay.

Ayat 274: Har Haal Mein Kharch Karne Walon Ka Ajr

Wo log jo apne maal khairat karte hain. Yahan un logon ka bayan hai jo raah-e-khuda mein kharch karne ka nihayat shauq rakhte hain aur har haal mein yani din raat, khufiya aylaniya kharch karte rehte hain. Ye ayat Hazrat Abu Bakr Siddiq (رضی اللہ عنہ) ke haq mein nazil hui jab aap ne raah-e-khuda mein chalis hazar dinar kharch kiye thay. Das hazar raat mein aur das hazar din mein aur das hazar poshida aur das hazar zahir. Ek qaul ye hai ke ye ayat Hazrat Ali-al-Murtaza (رضی اللہ عنہ) ke haq mein nazil hui, jab aap ke paas faqat char dirham thay aur aap ne in charon ko khairat kar diya.

Surah Al-Baqarah (Verses 267-274) Commentary

Verse 267: Pure Earnings and High-Quality Wealth

"Spend from your pure earnings." This verse was revealed regarding people who used to give poor-quality or damaged goods as charity. It was commanded that you should give from the pure and clean wealth you have earned for the sake of Allah. Furthermore, spend from the produce of the earth and do not give defective, low-quality, or useless goods in the path of Allah. When you desire a great reward from Allah, you should offer wealth of the highest standard. Reflect: if you were given the same low-quality goods that you offer in Allah's path, would you accept them? Most likely, you would refuse, or even if you did accept, you would not do so happily but with resentment in your heart. Therefore, just as you desire the best for yourself, think the best regarding what is spent in the path of Allah. Many people use the best for themselves but give unusable or low-quality items for charity. This verse serves as a warning for them. If something is good in itself but a person simply does not like it personally, there is no harm in giving it; the issue arises when something is given because it is of poor quality.

Religious Rulings Derived from Verse 267

Several rulings are derived from this verse:

(1) Permission to Earn:

It establishes the permissibility of earning a livelihood.

(2) Types of Charity:

Both voluntary (Nafl) and obligatory (Farz) charity can be included in this verse.

(3) Better Charity:

It is better to give from one's own earnings, as the verse says "from your earnings."

(4) Halal Wealth:

Charity must be given from Halal (lawful) wealth.

(5) Moderation:

One should not give away all their wealth but keep some for personal expenses, as indicated by the word "MIMMA" (from/out of).

(6) Produce of the Earth:

Charity should also be given from the produce of the land, whether it be grain or fruit, and whether the produce is little or much.

Verse 268: Satan’s Deception and Allah’s Promise

"Satan threatens you with poverty." After mentioning the virtues of spending for Allah's sake without any worldly interest, the biggest whisper (Waswasa) encountered in this path is addressed. Satan whispers in various ways that if you spend or give charity, you will become poor and destitute; therefore, do not spend. This is a great trap of Satan—to instill such fears when spending for Allah, while the same people often spend recklessly on ceremonies (lawful or unlawful) and general lifestyle. Thus, it is stated that Satan calls you toward stinginess and greed, but Allah promises that if you spend in His path, He will bless you with His grace and forgiveness. Remember, the Almighty is All-Encompassing; He will not let your wealth decrease due to charity but will instead create more blessings (Barakah) in it.

Verse 269: The Virtue of Divine Wisdom (Hikmah)

"Allah gives wisdom to whom He wills." Wisdom (Hikmah) can mean the knowledge of the Quran, Hadith, Fiqh (jurisprudence), piety (Taqwa), and Prophethood. (Reference: Madarik/Khazin). Since the Quran and Hadith are personified wisdom, Fiqh is the knowledge derived from this fountainhead of guidance. Piety is a requirement of wisdom, while Prophethood is absolute wisdom. However, it is certain that after our Holy Prophet ﷺ, no one will receive Prophethood.

Verse 270: The Result of Spending and Vows (Nazar)

"And whatever you spend." In this verse, both a promise and a warning are mentioned. It is stated that whatever you spend—whether for good or evil—and whatever vow (Nazar) you make—whether for a good deed or a sin—Allah knows all of it. He will reward good actions, spending, and vows, and He will punish sinful actions, spending, and vows.

Definition of a Vow (Nazar) and Its Rulings:

In common usage, a gift or offering is called a Nazar. There are two types:

Shari’i Nazar:

In Shariah, a vow is an act of worship. Therefore, a vow to commit a sin is invalid. A vow is specifically for Allah, but it is permissible to make a vow for Allah and designate the poor at a Saint's shrine as the recipients. (Reference: Radd al-Muhtar).

Lughwi/Urfi Nazar:

This refers to offerings made out of respect for the creation (like Saints), such as placing a cloth (Chadar) on a shrine. Fulfilling these is not mandatory but is considered better.

Verse 271: Rulings on Secret and Public Charity

"If you give charity openly." Whether charity is obligatory or voluntary, if it is given with sincerity for Allah and is free from showing off (Riya), it is good whether given publicly or secretly. However, it is superior to give obligatory charity (Zakat) publicly and voluntary charity (Sadaqah) secretly. If a person gives voluntary charity publicly to encourage others, then that public act is also superior. This was the wisdom behind the public charities of Sayyiduna Abu Bakr Siddiq (رضی اللہ عنہم), Sayyiduna Umar Farooq (رضی اللہ عنہم), and Sayyiduna Uthman Ghani (رضی اللہ عنہم). A further virtue of charity is that it wipes away minor sins.

Verse 272: Guidance is in Allah’s Control

"It is not upon you to guide them." The Holy Prophet ﷺ was sent as a bearer of glad tidings, a warner, and a caller (Da'ee). His duty is fulfilled by delivering the message, and further struggle to force guidance is not mandatory upon him. This theme is mentioned frequently in the Quran.

The Benefit of Spending and Importance of Sincerity:

"And whatever good you spend." It is stated that whatever you spend, its benefit is for you alone—blessings in wealth in this world and a treasure of reward in the hereafter. Therefore, since the benefit is yours, do not remind the recipient of your favor. Spend only for the pleasure of Allah. An atom's weight of sincere action will not be wasted and can be rewarded from seven hundred to millions of times over by Allah's grace.

Verse 273: The Best Recipients of Charity (Ahle-Suffah)

"For the poor who are restricted in the way of Allah." This verse was revealed regarding the Ahle-Suffah. These were approximately 400 companions who migrated to Madinah. They had no homes or families there and remained unmarried to spend all their time in worship—learning the Quran by night and engaging in Jihad by day. (Reference: Khazin).
Lesson: The Economic Condition of Religious Servants:
This category also includes scholars, students, and preachers who are so busy with religious work that they find no time to earn. Out of dignity, they do not ask people for help and try to hide their poverty. People often think they are well-off, but the reality is the opposite. We should support the scholars and servants of religion so they can perform their duties without financial worry.

Verse 274: Reward for Those Who Spend in Every Condition

"Those who spend their wealth." This describes those who have a great passion for spending in the way of Allah at all times—day and night, secretly and publicly. This verse was revealed regarding Sayyiduna Abu Bakr Siddiq (رضی اللہ عنہ) when he spent 40,000 Dinars (10,000 at night, 10,000 in the day, 10,000 secretly, and 10,000 publicly). Another opinion is that it refers to Sayyiduna Ali al-Murtaza (رضی اللہ عنہ) who spent his only four Dirhams in these four ways. There is a glad tiding of reward and salvation from fear and grief for all such spenders.

Tafseer ke Aham Nukaat (Key Points)

Maal ki Qism:

Allah ki raah mein hamesha halaal, pakiza aur acchi quality ka maal dena chahiye. Jo ghatiya cheez aap apne liye pasand nahi karte, wo Allah ki raah mein bhi na dein.

Shaitani Waswasa:

Shaitan insaan ko gareebi ka darr dila kar khairat karne se rokta hai, jabke Allah ka waada hai ke sadqa karne se maal ghat-ta nahi balkay us mein barqat aati hai.

Hikmat ki Fazeelat:

Allah jise chahta hai deen ki samajh aur hikmat ata karta hai. Hikmat wala shakhs hi jaanta hai ke asal kamai aakhirat ki hai.

Nazar (Mannat):

Allah ke liye maani gayi har mannat aur kharch kiya gaya har rupiya Allah ke ilm mein hai, aur wo iska poora ajar (reward) dega.
Chupa kar vs Zahir karke dena: Farz sadqa (Zakat) zahir karke dena behtar hai, jabke nafl sadqa chupa kar dena afzal hai taake riyakari (show-off) na ho.

Hidayat ka Ikhtiyar:

Logon ko hidayat dena Allah ke hath mein hai, Momineen ka kaam sirf nek dili se kharch karna aur dawat dena hai.
Behtareen Mustahiq: Sadqa un logon ko dena sab se behtar hai jo deen ke kaam mein itne masroof hain ke unke paas kamane ka waqt nahi aur wo apni izzat-e-nafs ki wajah se kisi ke aage hath bhi nahi phelate.

Har Haal mein Kharch:

Allah un logon ko bohat pasand farmata hai jo har haal mein (raat ho ya din, chupa kar ho ya zahir) Allah ki raza ke liye kharch karte hain.

Key Points of the Tafseer

Quality of Wealth:

One should always give Halal, pure, and high-quality wealth in the path of Allah. Do not offer anything in charity that you would not like or accept for yourself.

Satanic Whispers:

Satan discourages people from giving charity by instilling a fear of poverty. However, Allah promises that charity does not decrease wealth; instead, it brings blessings (Barakah) and growth.

The Virtue of Wisdom:

Allah grants religious understanding and wisdom (Hikmah) to whomever He wills. A wise person is one who realizes that the true and lasting earnings are those of the Hereafter.

Vows (Nazar):

Every vow made for Allah and every penny spent in His way is in His knowledge. He will grant the full reward for it.
Open vs. Secret Giving: It is better to give obligatory charity (Zakat) openly to encourage others and fulfill the obligation visibly. However, voluntary charity (Nafl) is superior when given secretly to avoid showing off (Riya).

Control of Guidance:

Granting guidance to people is in Allah's hands alone. The duty of a believer is simply to spend with a sincere heart and invite others to the truth.

The Best Recipients:

The most deserving of charity are those who are so dedicated to religious work that they have no time to earn a livelihood, yet they do not beg or ask anyone for help due to their self-respect.
Spending in All Circumstances: Allah dearly loves those who spend for His pleasure in every condition—whether it is day or night, and whether it is done secretly or openly.

Dill Ki Baat ❤️

Asal Kamai Aur Mohabbat Ka Taqaza

Zindagi mein hum aksar "jama" karne ki fikar mein rehte hain—ziyada paisa, behtar ghar, aur aala suhooliyat. Lekin ye ayatain humein ek bohat gehri haqiqat sikhati hain ke asal kamai wo nahi jo hum ne apne liye bacha kar rakhi, balkay wo hai jo hum ne Allah ki raah mein kharch kar di. Sochiye, hum Allah se hamesha "behtareen" ki umeed rakhte hain—behtareen sehat, behtareen rizq, aur behtareen jannat. To phir jab Allah ki raah mein dene ki baari aaye, to hum "ghatiya" ya "fazeel" maal kyun chunte hain? Mohabbat ka taqaza to ye hai ke Usay wo diya jaye jo humein khud sab se aziz ho.

Shaitan Ka Dhoka Aur Allah Ka Waada

Shaitan humein har baar gareebi ka darr dila kar rokta hai. Wo humein lambi zindagi ke khwab dikhata hai aur darata hai ke "tumhari itni lambi zindagi hai, agar tum kharch karoge to paisa kam ho jayega, tum mohtaj aur gareeb ho jaoge." Lekin hum insaanon ko us ke waswasay mein nahi aana chahiye, balkay ziyada se ziyada Allah ki raah mein kharch karna chahiye. Kharch karne se maal kam nahi hota, balkay dil ki tangi khatam hoti hai, sukoon milta hai aur rizq mein barqat hoti hai.

Tangdasti Ka Sab Se Bada Wazifa

Yaqeen karein, ruka hua kaam ban jata hai jab insaan Allah ke raste mein deta hai. Jo log tangdasti ka shikar hain, un ke liye mera azmoda (experienced) mashwara hai ke wo Allah ki raah mein dena shuru kar dein—chahe 10 rupay hon ya 100 rupay, lekin dein zaroor. Ye tangdasti khatam karne ka sab se bada aur azmoda wazifa hai jo maine apni zindagi mein khud mehsoos kiya hai.

Allah Ke Saath Tijarat

Log bohat tijarat (business) aur investments karte hain taake maal badh jaye, lekin un mein nuqsan ka khatra hota hai. Magar agar hum Allah ke saath tijarat karenge to na duniya mein nuqsan hoga na aakhirat mein—ye meri guarantee hai kyunke ye Allah ka waada hai, aur Uska waada bilkul sacha hai. Asal ameer wo nahi jis ka bank balance ziyada ho, balkay wo hai jis ka dil itna bada ho ke wo dusron ki zaroorat ko apni zaroorat par tarjeeh de.

Allah Aur Us Ke Mehboob ﷺ Ki Raza

Sirf Surah Al-Baqarah mein hi itni ayataon mein maal kharch karne ka zikar aya hai, jis se andaza hota hai ke is amal ka kitna bada ajar hai. Jab Allah aur Us ke Mehboob ﷺ razi aur khush hote hain, to phir puri duniya us insaan se khush ho jati hai. Hazrat Ali (رضی اللہ عنہ) ka qoul hai ke: "Log kamyabi mehnat mein dhoondte hain, lekin kamyabi Allah ki raah mein dene mein hai." Jaise kisi bhookay ko khana khilana, pilana ya kisi zaroorat-mand ko behtareen kapray dena. Kisi bhookay ka pait bharna bohat badi naiki hai jo Allah aur Us ke Mehboob ﷺ ko bohat pasand hai.

Niyyat Ki Safai Aur Ajizi

Khuda ko hamesha khush-dili se dein, kyunke wo sirf aapka maal nahi balkay aapki niyyat dekhta hai. Allah ki raah mein dete hue niyyat saaf rakhein aur sirf Khalis Allah ki raza ke liye dein. Ye hamesha yaad rakhein ke Allah ne aap ko sirf ek zahiri zariya banaya hai, asal dene wali zaat sirf Allah ki hai. Jo log "dene walon" mein shamil hain, unhein to shukar ka sajda karna chahiye ke Allah ne unhein is qabil banaya. Is liye kabhi garoor na karein aur na ehsan jatayein, balkay hamesha ajizi se rahein, kyunke Allah aur Us ke Mehboob ﷺ ko ajizi bohat pasand hai.

Heartfelt Thoughts ❤️

The True Earning and the Requirement of Love

In life, we are often consumed by the desire to "accumulate"—more money, better homes, and superior comforts. However, these verses teach us a profound reality: our true earnings are not what we save for ourselves, but what we spend in the way of Allah. Think about it: we always expect the "best" from Allah—the best health, the best sustenance, and the highest Paradise. Why then, when it is our turn to give in His path, do we choose low-quality or useless items? True love demands that we offer Him what is most dear to our own hearts.

Satan’s Deception vs. Allah’s Promise

Satan stops us every time by instilling the fear of poverty. He feeds us dreams of a long life and warns, "You have such a long life ahead; if you spend now, your wealth will diminish, and you will become needy and poor." We must not fall for these whispers. Instead, we should spend as much as possible in Allah’s way. Spending does not decrease wealth; rather, it removes the narrowness of the heart, grants peace, and brings immense blessings (Barakah) to one's sustenance.

The Greatest Remedy for Financial Hardship

Believe me, blocked tasks begin to clear when a person gives in the path of Allah. For those facing financial difficulties, my experienced advice is to start giving—whether it is 10 rupees or 100 rupees, but do give. I have personally experienced in my own life that this is the greatest and most effective spiritual remedy (Wazifa) for ending financial hardship.

Trading with Allah

People engage in a lot of trade and investments to increase their wealth, but those always carry a risk of loss. However, if we "trade" with Allah, there will be no loss in this world or the hereafter—that is a guarantee because it is Allah's promise, and His word is absolute truth. The truly wealthy person is not the one with the largest bank balance, but the one whose heart is big enough to prioritize the needs of others over their own.

The Pleasure of Allah and His Beloved ﷺ

The fact that Surah Al-Baqarah mentions spending wealth in so many verses shows how immense the reward for this act is. When Allah and His Beloved ﷺ are pleased, the entire world becomes pleased with that person. Hazrat Ali (رضی اللہ عنہ) once said: "People look for success in hard work, but success is found in giving in the way of Allah." Whether it is feeding the hungry or providing quality clothing to the needy—filling a hungry stomach is a great virtuous act that is beloved to Allah and His Prophet ﷺ.

Purity of Intention and Humility

Always give to God with a cheerful heart, for He does not just look at your wealth, but at your intention. When giving, keep your heart pure and give solely for the sake of Allah. Always remember that Allah has only made you a physical means; the Real Giver is Allah alone. Those who are among the "givers" should prostrate in gratitude (Shukr) that Allah found them worthy of this service. Therefore, never be arrogant and never remind others of your favors; instead, live with humility, for humility is most dear to Allah and His Beloved ﷺ.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

Q1: Kya sadqa dene se waqai maal mein kami nahi hoti?

Jawab: Bilkul nahi! Allah Ta'ala ka waada hai ke sadqa maal ko kam nahi karta balkay us mein barqat deta hai aur aane wali mushkilaat ko taal deta hai.

Q3: What is the difference between Zakat and Nafl Sadaqah?

Answer: Zakat is an obligatory (Farz) charity for those who meet the criteria (Sahib-e-Nisab), while Nafl Sadaqah is voluntary and can be given at any time to seek Allah's pleasure.

Q4: Why does Satan discourage us from giving charity?

Answer: Satan creates the fear of poverty and future needs in our minds to stop us from performing good deeds, whereas Allah promises forgiveness and abundance.

Q5: Is it better to give charity secretly or openly?

Answer: While giving Zakat openly is encouraged to inspire others, voluntary charity (Sadaqah) is superior when given secretly to ensure sincerity and avoid showing off (Riya).
